FAQ

How does this work?

You give us your items, and we do the rest and handle the research, photography, listing, packing, and shipping. Once it sells, we transfer your money. We make it simple for you.

How do I get my items to you?

You can post them, drop them off in Uxbridge, or we can collect for a fee which is £24 hour and will send a quote beforehand.

Where do you sell my items?

We sell your items via eBay auction and the lowest start we do is £10 per item or listing and if an item is worth more, we do a higher start. However, a lower starting price encourages more bidders and a higher final price. eBay is the online marketplace king and what people use in most industries to price what their items are worth and where a lot big dealers and retailers sell.

Could I get more money selling it myself?

Yes, you might get a bit more doing it yourself, or by waiting months for a specific buyer. Our service is for people who want the money safely and fast, without the hassle, stress, and time it takes to do it all themselves. We cannot guarantee how much an item sells for as it is an auction and the items brand, style, colour, size, type, age etc. will affects its value. We feel we can get more for you than you would by doing it all yourself.

How are you different from an auction house and other selling options?

Traditional auctions charge buyers a massive 20% to 30% or more premium on top of the winning bid, which stops them from bidding higher. We have no buyer’s premium, so people bid more freely. Plus, you don't have to wait months for a scheduled auction day. We don’t do lowball offers or sell quickly on a live stream.

What is included in your commission?

Our fee covers everything from start to finish. We thoroughly research your item, take professional photos, create the listing, handle the buyers, package it securely, and post it. The cost of all packaging materials and our time is fully included in our commission. We make absolutely zero profit on the postage itself. Charging buyers at cost helps keep shipping cheap, encouraging more bids and higher sale prices for you.

 What do you accept?

Anything authentic and legal to sell on eBay that has decent resale value. We regularly handle jewellery, watches, trading cards, collectibles, electronics, golf clubs, designer clothes and much more. We accept everything from single items to whole collections.

What don’t you accept?

Outdated high street clothes and low value crockery for example. We have zero tolerance for fakes. If you send us counterfeit or unsellable items, there is a £12 handling fee per item, even on small items and you must pay return postage.

Is there a minimum value or size limit?

We recommend items worth £40 or more (£30 for small items that fit in an envelope). Mixed collections usually average out fine. Maximum size is roughly a Royal Mail medium parcel, though we can accept longer items like golf clubs. Contact us if you are unsure and we will be happy to help. The more valuable your item is the better return you get out of our service.

How are our fees calculated?

We don't take commission on the total sale price. We base it on the amount we receive from eBay and deduct the postage which the cost is passed onto the buyer, then take our commission based on what is left over.

What if an item doesn't sell or goes for very little?

If it doesn't sell, a flat listing fee applies (£6 standard / £3 small envelope). If it sells for less than our minimum commission (£12 standard / £6 small), we retain the proceeds up to that minimum fee. We will always advise you upfront if we think an item isn't worth listing.

When do I get paid?

Usually 1 to 2 weeks after we receive your items. We send your money via bank transfer along with a clear spreadsheet breaking down the final sale prices and fees.

Please note: For any high value items that sell for more than £2,000, we hold the funds securely until the standard online return period has fully cleared. This is also done by eBay in other high value transactions to help protect everyone involved but you once you get paid that is it.

What if a buyer doesn't pay?

We handle it completely. We cancel the transaction, block the buyer, and relist your item immediately but unfortunately this will delay in you getting paid but this could also happen to you if you tried to sell yourself.

Can I see my items while they are live?

Yes. We will send you direct links to your active listings so you can watch them sell in real time.
